1 egg , slightly beaten
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon orange rind , grated
2 -3 teaspoons orange juice

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 400°F.
2.In a large bowl, combine bran flakes, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, orange rind, and salt. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cranberries.
3.In a separate bowl, mix together beaten egg and yogurt. Add to dry ingredients; stir until moistened.
4.Turn out onto a floured surface and knead lightly 10 times. Divide dough in half. Pat each half 1/2 inch thick and cut into wedges.
5.Place on greased baking sheets and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
6.In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, orange rind, and enough orange juice to make a glaze. Drizzle over scones while they are still warm.
