This recipe also adds a touch of orange marmalade to give it a citrusy twist. The apple compote is made with Granny Smith apples, which add a tart and tangy flavor to the dish. This dessert is perfect for any occasion and can be served warm or at room temperature. It is simple to make and takes about an hour to prepare and bake.
