Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F.
2.In a mixing bowl, combine white flour, whole wheat flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, apricots, prunes, almonds and salt.
3.Fold in egg, sour cream, melted butter, lemon rind and vanilla. Mix just until all ingredients are combined.
4.Grease and flour a 9-inch by 5-inch loaf pan. Add the batter to the pan and level it.
5.Bake in the oven for 60-75 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean.
6.Cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
