Ingredients

2 cups heavy cream
5 eggs
6 tablespoons sugar
3/4 cup flour ( sifted )
1/2 teaspoon cardamom
Små Flødekager or Small Cream Cakes are a very popular Danish dessert. These cakes are small in size, but big on flavour! The combination of heavy cream and cardamom creates a rich, creamy taste with a hint of spice. These cakes make for a great afternoon snack, special treat or dessert. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F.
2.Grease the muffin moulds.
3.Whisk eggs and sugar for 3-4 minutes.
4.Fold in the flour and cardamom.
5.Then fold in the heavy cream.
6.Pour the mixture into muffin moulds.
7.Bake for 18-20 minutes.
8.Remove from the oven and let the muffins cool.
9.Serve.

PROS

Soft and creamy texture.
Cardamom flavour gives it a unique taste.

CONS

Not suitable for people with lactose intolerance or milk allergy.
The recipe requires baking experience.
