1 package yellow cake mix
1 egg
1/2 cup butter , melted
1 package light cream cheese
1 can pumpkin
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup butter
16 ounces confectioners ' sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/3 cup crushed pecans

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F.
2.In a large bowl, mix together the yellow cake mix, 1 egg, and 1/2 cup melted butter.
3.Press mixture evenly onto the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
4.Combine the light cream cheese, pumpkin, 2 eggs, and vanilla, and mix until smooth.
5.Pour mixture over the cake mixture.
6.Bake for 40-45 minutes or until pumpkin mixture is set and edges are golden brown.
7.In a saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter over low heat; remove from heat.
8.Stir in the confectioners’ sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
9.Add pecans and mix well.
10.Spread over warm bars.
11.Refrigerate until cold, then cut into bars and serve.
