1 can crushed pineapple

2 cups uncooked quick-cooking oats

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
2.In a medium saucepan, combine crushed pineapple, sugar, cornstarch, salt, butter, and grated orange peel. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.
3.In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, brown sugar, and quick-cooking oats. Cut in butter until the mixture is crumbly.
4.Press 2/3 of the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
5.Spread the cooled pineapple mixture evenly over the bottom crust.
6.Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture on top of the pineapple mixture.
7.Bake for 25-30 minutes in the preheated oven or until golden brown.
8.Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool.
9.Cut into squares and serve!
