caster sugar , for sprinkling ( optional )
1/4 teaspoon crushed edible lavender flowers ( fresh or dried ) ( optional )

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C)

5.Cut the dough into shapes using a cookie cutter
6.Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
7.If desired, sprinkle with caster sugar and crushed lavender flowers
8.Bake for 20-25 minutes until the edges are lightly golden
9.Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely
