1 lb ground lamb
1 lb ground veal
3 cups crushed saltine crumbs
2 teaspoons pepper
2 teaspoons nutmeg
3 teaspoons coriander
3 teaspoons salt
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 cup water

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375° F.
2.Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
3.Using your hands, shape the mixture into a large rectangular loaf on a baking sheet.
4.Bake for 45 minutes, then remove from oven and let cool.
5.Once cooled, cut into slices and fry on a griddle or in a pan until golden brown on both sides.
