2 cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls | |
2 containers light cream cheese spread | |
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar , divided | |
1 egg white | |
1 teaspoon vanilla | |
1 can cherry pie filling ( or your favorite flavor ) | |
2 tablespoons milk |
1. | Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). |
2. | Unroll the crescent rolls and separate each piece on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Press the seams together. |
3. | In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1 cup of the powdered sugar, egg white, and vanilla with an electric mixer until well combined and creamy. |
4. | Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent rolls. |
5. | Spoon the cherry pie filling over the cream cheese. |
6. | Fold the corners of each crescent roll over the filling and press the edges together. |
7. | Brush the tops of the crescent rolls with milk and sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of powdered sugar on top. |
8. | Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed. |
9. | Serve warm. |
