Ingredients

350 g extra lean ground beef
150 g ground lean pork ( as lean as you can get , ground pork in Denmark only has around 8-10 % fat )
1 egg
8 tablespoons breadcrumbs
1 onion , small , shredded finely on cheese grater
1/2 cup water
1 3/4 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons black pepper ( add more if you want a spicier meatball )

Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef and pork.
2.Add egg, breadcrumbs, shredded onion, water, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
3.Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
4.Using a tablespoon, scoop the meat mixture and form it into a small ball.
5.Place the meatball on the pan and repeat the process until all the meat mixture has been used.
6.Cook each side of the meatball for 5-6 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
