Ingredients

2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
500 g of frozen chopped up green cabbage ( we can buy this at the store , I do n't know about in the US )
1 1/2 cups heavy cream or 1 1/2 cups milk
salt , to taste
pepper
nutmeg
Danish Groenlangkaal, also known as Green-Long-Cale, is a traditional Danish side dish that is made with frozen chopped cabbage, heavy cream/milk, and spices. Instructions

1.Melt butter in a large pan.
2.Add flour and stir until combined.
3.Add frozen chopped cabbage and stir.
4.Add heavy cream/milk and stir.
5.Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low.
6.Simmer for 10-15 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
7.Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
8.Serve hot.

CONS

Not suitable for those who are lactose intolerant or following a dairy-free diet.
