2 cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls | |
1 egg yolk | |
2 packages cream cheese , softened | |
1 cup sugar | |
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice | |
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla | |
1/4 cup lemon jam | |
1 cup chopped walnuts or 1 cup pecans | |
1 egg white | |
powdered sugar |
1. | Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). |
2. | In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla until smooth. |
3. | Unroll crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface. Separate into triangles. |
4. | Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture onto the center of each triangle. Add a dollop of lemon jam on top of the cream cheese mixture and spread out. |
5. | Sprinkle chopped nuts over the top of each triangle. |
6. | Roll up each crescent and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. |
7. | Beat egg white and egg yolk together in a bowl. Brush over each rolled crescent. |
8. | Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. |
9. | Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy! |
