5 fresh tomatoes
5 shallots , coarsely chopped
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 loaf French bread , for dipping ( optional )

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2.Cut the tops off the tomatoes and scoop out the insides, placing them in a mixing bowl.
3.Add shallots, olive oil and balsamic vinegar to the mixing bowl.
4.Mix everything well and fill the tomatoes with the mixture.
5.Place the stuffed tomatoes in a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
6.Serve with sliced French bread for dipping (if desired).
