Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2.Soak poppy seeds in milk for 1 hour.
3.In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

6.Add flour mixture to the creamed mixture, alternating with the poppy seed mixture, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
7.Stir in vanilla and lemon zest.
8.Pour batter into a greased and floured Bundt pan.
9.Bake for 45-50 minutes.
10.Cool cake in the pan for 10 minutes before removing and slicing.
