Instructions

1.Rinse the brown and wild rice in cold water and drain well.

8.Reduce the heat to low and cook, covered, for 3-4 hours, or until the beef is tender and falls apart easily when shredded.
9.Remove the beef from the pot and shred it using a fork.
10.In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with the rice flour to make a paste.
11.Whisk the paste into the pot with the beef broth, stirring to thicken the gravy.
12.Return the shredded beef to the pot, stir well, and cook for a few minutes, until heated through.
13.Serve the shredded beef with the gravy over the cooked rice.
