Ingredients

2 lbs ground beef
2 teaspoons dried chili pepper flakes , to taste ( optional )
2 onions , chopped
1 -2 tablespoon fresh minced garlic ( or to taste )
1 small green bell pepper , seeded and chopped
3 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning ( or to taste )
seasoning salt ( or use white salt )

1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup flour
1 jar favorite pasta sauce ( or use homemade )
1 1/2 cups canned sliced mushrooms , drained ( I use the whole can ! )
2 cups grated mozzarella cheese ( can use more )
1 can refrigerated prepared pizza crust ( or use you own own recipe )
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese ( or to taste )
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 1/2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
Beef Pizza Casserole is a hearty and flavorful dish that combines the best of both worlds: the cheesy goodness of pizza and the comforting warmth of a casserole. This recipe uses a combination of ground beef, mushrooms, and a zesty pasta sauce to create a filling and savory mixture that is spread over a layer of homemade pizza crust. Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 425°F.
2.Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add the chopped onions, garlic, and green bell pepper. Stir occasionally for 5-7 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.
3.Add ground beef to the skillet and cook it until it is no longer pink. Drain the beef if necessary.
4.Add chili pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, seasoning salt, pepper and flour. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
5.Add pasta sauce to the skillet and mushrooms. Mix well and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
6.Use a rolling pin to roll the refrigerated prepared pizza crust and place it on the bottom of a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
7.Mix up grated mozzarella cheese and 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese. Spread half of the cheese over the pizza crust in the baking dish.
8.Pour the beef and sauce mixture over the cheese and spread it evenly.
9.Sprinkle another cup of grated mozzarella cheese over the beef layer.
10.Sprinkle 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese and 1 1/2 teaspoons of dried Italian seasoning over the cheese.
11.Bake the casserole for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
12.Let the casserole cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
