Ingredients

1 lb ground sirloin
1/4 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley ( plus 2 tbsp. , divided )
1/4 cup fresh cilantro , chopped
1 tablespoon fresh ginger , peeled and chopped
2 teaspoons ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 cups English cucumbers , thinly sliced
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1/2 cup plain fat-free Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 pita bread , quartered

Instructions

1.In a large bowl add the ground sirloin , 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro, 1/4 cup of chopped flat-leaf parsley, freshly peeled and chopped ginger, ground coriander, ground cumin, salt, ground cinnamon and mix well, made round balls from the mixture.
2.In a large bowl add thinly sliced English cucumbers, 1 tbsp. flat-leaf parsley, rice vinegar, plain fat-free Greek yogurt, fresh lemon juice, salt, freshly ground black pepper and mix gently, put aside.
3.Cook kefta patties on a preheated grill or nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until browned on the outside and cooked through. Roughly 4-5 minutes per side.
4.On a heated skillet, heat the pita bread by placing it onto the skillet. Flip after 10 seconds, and cook until the pita bread is warm and fluffy.
5.Serve the cooked beef kefta patties on a plate with the cucumber salad and the pita bread quarters on the side.
