Ingredients

2 lbs beef ( I used pepper steak , you can use any stewing type beef )
1 onion , chopped
2 portabella mushroom caps , sliced ( or , 1/2 lb of mushrooms , sliced )
2 cups mushroom soup ( I used a small box of the Portobello Mush . Soup made by Imagine soups )
1/4 cup white wine
2 tablespoons tamari ( to taste )
1/4 cup water
salt

Instructions

1.In a crock pot, add the beef, chopped onion, and sliced mushrooms.
2.In a separate bowl, mix together the mushroom soup, white wine, tamari, water, and salt.
3.Pour the mixture over the beef, onion and mushrooms in the crock pot and stir to combine.
4.Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 8 hours.
5.Serve over noodles or rice.
