Ingredients

2 lbs stewing beef , boneless , sliced into 1 1/2 inch cubes
1/3 cup all-purpose flour , divided
3 tablespoons butter , divided
4 garlic cloves , chopped
2 onions , chopped
2 celery ribs , chopped
2 bay leaves
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 1/2 cups beef stock or 1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 1/2 cups 35 % cream
2 large sweet potatoes
2 tablespoons lemon juice , freshly squeezed
fresh coriander or parsley , chopped

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F.

9.Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into 1/2 inch cubes and add them to the pot.
10.Cover and bake for another 30 minutes.
11.Stir in the lemon juice and add salt and pepper to taste.
12.Sprinkle with fresh coriander or parsley and serve hot!
