Ingredients

1 lb cubed sirloin

4 -5 cubed potatoes

2 diced tomatoes
1/2 cup mushroom
1 packet mccormicks beef stew seasoning
1/2 tablespoon thyme
1 beef bouillon cube
2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

1.In a large pot, heat the butter over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and onion and sauté until softened.

3.Add in the cubed potatoes, chopped carrots, chopped celery, diced tomatoes, mushrooms, beef stew seasoning, thyme, and beef bouillon cube.
4.Pour in enough water to cover the vegetables and meat, then bring to a boil.
5.Reduce heat to low and let simmer for about an hour, or until the vegetables and meat are tender.
6.In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and some water until dissolved. Add this mixture to the pot and stir to thicken the stew. Serve hot!
