Instructions

1.Rinse the beans and soak them overnight in a large pot with 6 cups of water.
2.Drain the beans and rinse them again in cold water.
3.In the same pot, add the chicken, tomato puree, onion, carrot, potato, red bell pepper, pimiento strip, garlic, and vegetable oil.
4.Add 1 cup of water and the optional white wine, ketchup, brown sugar, allspice, salt, pepper, parsley, thyme, and coriander.
