Ceviche is a traditional dish made with raw fish that is marinated in citrus juices, such as lime or lemon juice, and flavored with chili peppers, onions, and other seasonings. The acid in the citrus juices cooks the fish, giving it a firm texture and an opaque appearance. It is typically served as a side dish, but it can also be eaten as a main course or as a snack.
