Ingredients

4 cups water
2 big head onions
2 chopped green tomatoes
4 long onions
11 lbs beef ribs
1 cutting chicken
4 green bananas
1 lb yucca root , peeled and chopped in squares
1 -2 teaspoon cumin
salt , pepper to taste and color
Sancocho Valluno is a traditional Colombian soup, typically eaten as a main course that features a flavorful, hearty broth. The soup includes beef ribs, chicken, yucca, and green bananas, seasoned with onion, tomato, and cumin that creates a unique and delicious taste. Instructions

1.In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
2.Add the beef ribs and chicken and reduce heat to simmer for about 2 hours, until meats are tender and fall off the bone.
3.Remove the meats and shred them into bite-sized pieces. Set them aside.
4.Add the onions, tomatoes, long onions, and cumin to the stock and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
5.Add the yucca and green bananas to the pot, cook for another 20-25 minutes, or until they are tender.
6.Return the meat to the pot and cook until completely heated through.
7.Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and additional cumin if needed.
