4 -5 bunches collard greens ( or kale )
butter ( use 1/2 tablespoon for every cup of shredded collards )

Instructions

1.Wash the collard greens or kale to remove any dirt or bugs that might be on them, using cold water.
2.Cut the leaves from the stalk and discard the center stem.
3.Roll the leaves up and slice them into thin ribbons.
4.Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
5.When the butter begins to sizzle, add the shredded collards to the pan.
6.Stir the collards to coat them with the melted butter and let them cook for about 5 minutes until they are bright green and wilted.
