3 ounces coarsely chopped dark chocolate
2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2.Blend the whole blanched almonds in a food processor until finely ground. Transfer to a bowl.
3.In a saucepan, heat the milk over low heat until it’s warm to the touch. Remove from heat and sprinkle with yeast. Stir until combined and let stand for 5 minutes.
4.In a large bowl, beat sugar and butter together until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract, almond extract, and eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
5.Sift the cocoa powder, flour, and salt over the wet ingredients and stir to combine.
6.Add chopped dark chocolate and ground almonds, stirring well.
7.Pour the milk-yeast mixture over the dough and stir until the ingredients are fully combined.
8.Grease a loaf pan ( 9x5 inches ) and transfer the dough to the pan. Spray water over the dough in the loaf pan and sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top.
9.Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the bread is golden brown on top.
10.Cool the bread for 10 minutes before transferring it from the pan.
