1 1/2 cups sugar
6 egg yolks
2 cups milk
3 egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 lemon peel

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

7.Pour mix into the baking dish and place it in a larger dish filled halfway with water.
8.Place the dishes in the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes or until the custard is set.
9.Remove the dishes from the oven and let them cool to room temperature.
10.Once cooled, cover and place them in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
11.To serve, run a knife around the edges and invert onto a serving plate.
