Ingredients

fresh ground black pepper ( or to taste )
4 garlic cloves , minced
1 cup dry white wine
3 bay leaves
1 teaspoon ground oregano
1/2 cup chopped parsley or 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
2 cans diced tomatoes , undrained
2 lbs medium shrimp , peeled and deveined
1 teaspoon soy sauce
hot sauce , a few splashes ( optional )
2 cups fluffy white rice ( optional )

Instructions
