Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, ground ham, grated onion, minced garlic, salt, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, oregano, bay leaf powder, beaten eggs, and cracker meal or dry breadcrumbs.
3.Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
4.Spread the mixture into a lightly greased 9 inch by 5 inch loaf pan.
5.Sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
6.Bake for approximately 45 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted in the center of the loaf registers 160°F (71°C).
7.Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then turn the loaf out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
8.When the loaf is cool, slice it thinly and serve cold.
