8 lbs standing rib roast

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2.Mix together onion, jalapeno pepper, allspice, cinnamon, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, olive oil and soy sauce in a bowl.

4.Place the roast on a roasting pan with the fat side up and bake for 2-2.5 hours or until a meat thermometer reads at least 130 degrees F (54 degrees C) for medium-rare.
5.Remove from the oven, cover with foil and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before carving.
