Ingredients

1 whole fish (600g)
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp Shaoxing wine
1 tbsp sesame oil
3 stalks green onions, sliced
3 slices ginger
1 red chili, sliced
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Salt and pepper
This steamed fish with ginger and soy sauce is a classic Chinese dish that's easy to make and healthy.

Instructions

1.Clean the fish and pat dry with paper towel.
2.Score both sides of the fish with a knife. Rub some salt and pepper all over the fish.
3.Arrange the green onions and ginger on a plate. Place the fish on top.
4.In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sesame oil and vegetable oil.
5.Pour the mixture over the fish.
6.Sprinkle the sliced chili on top.
7.Steam the fish for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
8.Garnish with additional sliced green onions and serve.
