Fish is a great source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids which are beneficial for heart health.
1 whole fish (600g) | |
2 tbsp soy sauce | |
2 tbsp Shaoxing wine | |
1 tbsp sesame oil | |
3 stalks green onions, sliced | |
3 slices ginger | |
1 red chili, sliced | |
1 tbsp vegetable oil | |
Salt and pepper |
1. | Clean the fish and pat dry with paper towel. |
2. | Score both sides of the fish with a knife. Rub some salt and pepper all over the fish. |
3. | Arrange the green onions and ginger on a plate. Place the fish on top. |
4. | In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sesame oil and vegetable oil. |
5. | Pour the mixture over the fish. |
6. | Sprinkle the sliced chili on top. |
7. | Steam the fish for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through. |
8. | Garnish with additional sliced green onions and serve. |
