Ingredients

3 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon dark rum
2 teaspoons gingerroot , chopped
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
Jerk marinades originated in Jamaica and are known for their spicy, flavorful kick. Instructions

1.In a blender or food processor, combine the coriander seeds, cumin, black peppercorns, dried chilies, hot pepper flakes, and whole clove. Pulse the mixture until the seeds and chilies are finely ground.
2.Once ground, add the chopped parsley, brown sugar, ground allspice, ketchup, soy sauce, vegetable oil, dark rum, chopped gingerroot, and Tabasco sauce. Pulse the mixture until all the ingredients are well combined.
3.Pour the mixture into a large, sealable plastic bag and add your desired meat. Massage the marinade into the meat, making sure it is fully coated.
4.Refrigerate the meat in the marinade for at least 6 hours, or overnight for best results. Grill or broil the meat until fully cooked, and enjoy!
