5 garlic cloves , peeled and crushed
1 -2 tablespoon red chili powder ( not chili powder )

Instructions

1.Roast the pecan halves in a dry skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, shaking the pan often until they turn golden brown.
2.Take the skillet off the heat and pour the pecans into a bowl.
3.In the same skillet, add a tablespoon of oil and put it back on medium heat.
4.Add the garlic and cook until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
5.Add the red chili powder and stir-fry for a few seconds.
6.Pour the pan contents over the pecans and add a pinch of salt.
7.Add enough purified water to cover the pecans and let them soak for 5 minutes.
8.Add the pecan and spice mixture to a food processor and puree until smooth. Check to see if the consistency is too thick and add more purified water if needed.
