2 ears fresh sweet corn , husks and silks removed
4 -5 large garlic cloves , peeled

2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 quarts good quality canned chicken broth , heated

Instructions

1.Preheat the broiler.
2.Grill the corn, garlic, onion, and jalapeno on a baking sheet until brown, about 10 minutes.
3.Heat the corn oil in a large pot over medium heat.
4.Add the tortilla squares to the oil, hen stir and cook until crisp, about 2 minutes. Remove the tortillas from the pot.
5.Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, and cumin to the pot and stir to combine.
6.Add the chicken broth, salt and pepper.
7.Bring the soup to a boil then reduce to low heat.
8.While the soup is simmering, shred the cooked chicken breast and slice the avocado.
9.Add the pre prepared tortilla crisps, chicken, avocado, cheese, crema, and cilantro to the soup and serve.
