Instructions

1.In a frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until hot.

3.Using the same pan, add the diced chicken breast and green chiles serranos (optional) and fry until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
4.In a large pot, combine chicken broth, dried chicken broth, finely chopped onion, ground tomatoes, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
5.Add the fried chicken and tortillas to the pot and simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes.
6.Serve hot with sliced limes and diced avocado on top.
