Ingredients

1 quart tomatillo
1 jalapeno
1 yellow jalapeno
2 tablespoons garlic , minced
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 bunch cilantro
Holly's Tomatillo Green Sauce is a tangy and fresh salsa-like sauce made with tomatillos, jalapenos, garlic, and cilantro. It originated in Mexico and is commonly used as a condiment or marinade. Instructions

1.Remove the husks from the tomatillos, wash them, and cut them in half.
2.Cut the jalapenos in half, remove the seeds and membranes to adjust heat level.
3.Place the tomatillos and jalapenos in a medium saucepan and add water to cover.
4.Cook over medium-high heat for about 10-12 minutes, or until the tomatillos are soft.
5.Drain the water and place the tomatillos and jalapenos in a blender.
6.Add the garlic, cilantro, and kosher salt to the blender and blend until smooth.
7.Season with additional salt to taste.
