Ingredients

1 cup rinsed white rice
4 cups water
2 cinnamon bark
1 can evaporated milk
2 cups skim milk
1 cup sugar , according to your taste ( could be less ( or more )
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 dash ground cinnamon

Instructions

1.Begin by placing the rice and cinnamon bark in a bowl and covering it with 2 cups of water
2.Let it soak for at least 3 hours
3.After 3 hours, remove the cinnamon bark and blend the rice and water mixture until smooth
4.Strain the mixture through a cheesecloth or fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher
5.Pour in the evaporated milk, skim milk, sugar, vanilla and ground cinnamon into the pitcher and stir the mixture till sugar is completely dissolved
6.Chill the Horchata in your fridge and serve over ice.
