Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with chopped onion and minced garlic. Drain off excess fat.
3.Spread the refried beans in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
4.Sprinkle 1 can of diced green chilies over the beans and half of the grated cheddar cheese.
5.Spread the beef mixture over the cheese.

7.Layer the remaining green chilies over the beef and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
8.Spoon the sour cream over the cheese to cover completely.
