1/4 teaspoon ground bay leaf
3 ounces Spanish-style olives
1 teaspoon salt , or to taste
1 small butternut squash , peeled and cut into cubes

Instructions

1.In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

6.Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the pot.
7.Simmer the Picadillo for 30-40 minutes, or until the butternut squash is tender and the flavors have melded together.
