2 packages crescent rolls
1 package taco seasoning
3/4 cup refried beans , any variety
1 lb lean ground beef
4 ounces cream cheese
2 tablespoons hot sauce
1/2 cup salsa , any variety
lettuce , to serve ( optional )
tomatoes , to serve ( optional )
sour cream , to serve ( optional )
olive , to serve ( optional )
Taco ring is a fun meal that is perfect for family dinners, parties, or game day grub. It's a crowd-pleaser that is easy to make and you can add any of your favourite toppings to personalize it. This version of Taco Ring includes ground beef taco filling with a cheezy, tangy cream cheese sauce wrapped in crescents. It is convenient, easy-to-make and is always a hit for all ages.

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 375 F (190 C).
2.In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
3.Add the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water to the skillet with the ground beef. Stir to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
4.In a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese, hot sauce, and salsa.
5.On a clean work surface, unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Arrange the triangles in a circle on a large baking sheet or pizza pan, with the pointed ends facing outwards and the wide ends overlapping slightly.
6.Spread the refried beans evenly over the wide ends of the crescent dough triangles.
7.Spoon the ground beef mixture over the refried beans.
8.Spread the cream cheese mixture over the ground beef.
9.Bring the pointed ends of the crescent dough up and over the filling, tucking them underneath the wide ends of the crescent dough to form a ring.
10.Bake the Taco Ring in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crescent dough is golden brown and the filling is heated through.
