5 lbs masa harina flour , preparada
1 3/4 cups water
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 lb lard
1 package corn husk

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, add the Masa Harina Flour and water. Mix well to form a dough.
2.Add the baking powder and salt, mix well.
3.In another bowl, beat the lard until it's soft and fluffy, add the dough mix and beat until it becomes light and fluffy.
4.Rinse the corn husk and keep aside.
5.Take a spoonful of dough and flatten on a corn husk in the centre, leaving enough room on the edges. Repeat the process until all the dough is used.
6.Place the corn husk on a steamer, cover and steam for about 45 minutes.
7.Allow it to cool for a while before serving.
