6 cups water ( can use chicken broth , or half and half of each )
1 can tomato sauce
3 teaspoons salt ( can use less , it 's up to you )
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin ( add more or ) ( optional )
1 1/2 - 3 fluid ounces tequila ( can use more or less , to taste )
1/2 - 1 teaspoon Mexican oregano ( optional )
