Mexican Fiesta Salad Pizza is a fun and exciting recipe that takes the traditional pizza to new heights. This pizza is loaded with flavor and fun toppings, such as lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and green onions. The crust is made from refrigerated crescent rolls, which gives it a light and flaky texture. Lean ground turkey is used as the protein source, which makes it a healthier option than traditional pizza toppings such as pepperoni or sausage. The use of chunky salsa instead of pizza sauce adds an exciting new flavor profile to the dish.

Instructions

.Preheat oven to 375°F.
.Unroll crescent dough; separate into 16 triangles. Arrange triangles in a circle on a large round stone or pizza pan, with wide ends of triangles overlapping in center and pointed ends toward the outside. Roll over seams with a rolling pin to seal (there should be a 5-inch diameter opening in center of stone).
.Using a pastry brush, spread 1 cup of the salsa evenly over dough to within 1 inch of edge.
.In small bowl, combine taco seasoning mix and garlic; mix well. Add ground turkey; mix well using nylon scraper. Cook turkey mixture over medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles using nylon spoon. Spread cooked turkey evenly over salsa.
.Sprinkle cheese over turkey mixture.
.Bake 18-20 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Remove from oven; let stand 5 minutes.
.Top pizza with lettuce, tomato, olives, and green onions; sprinkle with additional 1/4 cup salsa. Cut into wedges using Pizza Cutter.
.Serve with sour cream and additional salsa, if desired.
