2 tablespoons taco sauce ( more or less depending on taste )
3 flour tortillas
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded cooked chicken ( optional )
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
Tabasco sauce ( optional )

The recipe is simple to follow and uses only a handful of ingredients, making it a great option for those on a tight budget. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.Spread taco sauce on one side of each tortilla.
3.Sprinkle 1/3 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the taco sauce on each tortilla.
4.Divide 1/2 cup of chopped bell pepper and 1/2 cup of shredded cooked chicken (if using) between the tortillas, placing on top of the cheese.
5.Sprinkle another 1/3 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the chicken and bell pepper on each tortilla.
6.Fold each tortilla in half and press down gently.
7.Place the quesadillas on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is crisp.
8.Cut each quesadilla into 3 or 4 wedges and serve with Tabasco sauce (if desired).
