Tacos are a staple of Mexican cuisine and have become a beloved food all over the world. Jennah's Carne Asada Tacos are a particularly delicious example of this versatile dish. The marinated, grilled skirt steak is paired with a medley of fresh vegetables and topped with zesty salsa and lime juice. These tacos are perfect for a casual dinner with friends or an outdoor BBQ. To make them more authentic, serve them with a side of refried beans and rice.

Instructions

1.Preheat grill to high heat
2.In a large bowl, mix together the diced skirt steak and Lawreys Seasoning Salt until the steak is evenly coated.
3.Grill the steak on high heat for about 1-2 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
4.While steak is cooking, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the corn tortillas to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds on each side, or until they are soft and pliable.
5.Fill each tortilla with cooked steak, diced onions, sliced radishes, chopped cilantro, jalapeno slices, and salsa verde. Squeeze some lime juice on top of each taco and enjoy!

PROS

These tacos are packed with flavor and have a great mix of textures and heat levels.
The skirt steak is juicy and tender, while the radishes add a satisfying crunch.
The jalapeno and salsa verde provide a nice spicy kick, while the lime juice adds a refreshing acidity to balance it all out.

CONS

The skirt steak can be a bit pricey and hard to find in some grocery stores.
Additionally, some people may find the spiciness of the jalapenos and salsa verde to be too intense.

HEALTH & BENEFITS

When eaten in moderation, these tacos can be a good source of protein, fiber, and vitamins. The skirt steak is a lean cut of beef that is high in iron and vitamin B12, while the onions and radishes contain antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. The jalapenos contain capsaicin, which has been linked to improved digestion and a reduced risk of certain chronic diseases.
