Instructions

1.Begin with heating vegetable oil to 350 degrees F in a large frying pan for frying.
2.Keep the oil aside and take a bowl; add grated goat cheese to the bowl and keep it aside.
3.In another bowl, peel and cut avocados into chunks and mash them with a fork or potato masher until you get a fine paste.
4.Peel and finely chop the red onion. In a small frying pan, toast cumin seeds over medium heat until fragrant and lightly browned, approximately 3-4 minutes.
5.Mix in 1 teaspoon of toast cumin seeds, 3 teaspoons lemon juice, and hot sauce to taste into the mashed avocado mixture. Season it with salt and pepper.
6.Take the corn tortillas and fry them until golden brown and crispy. Drain the excess oil from the chalupas on a paper towel.
7.Top each of them with 1/4th of the avocado mixture and the grated cheese. Add a tablespoon of plain yogurt and a sprinkle of chopped cilantro on top of that, and your Guacamole and Cheese Chalupas are ready to be served.
