50 g butter , softened
1/2 cup icing sugar

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2.In a bowl, beat the butter, icing sugar, and vanilla essence until light and fluffy.
3.Add the flour and custard powder and mix until the dough comes together.
4.Roll teaspoonfuls of dough into balls and place on the prepared baking tray.
5.Press the balls down with a fork.
6.Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
7.In a separate bowl, beat the remaining butter, icing sugar, and custard powder until light and fluffy.
8.Sandwich two cooled biscuits together with the custard icing. Repeat with the remaining biscuits and icing.
