Ingredients

5 guavas ( Feijoas )
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon fresh gingerroot , grated
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 1/4 cups 1 % low-fat milk
1/4 cup honey
1 cup plain low-fat yogurt , stirred

Instructions

1.Cut the guavas into small pieces and put them in a blender.

4.Once done, remove from heat and cool down to room temperature.
5.Add honey and yogurt to the blender and blend until it forms a smooth mixture.
6.Stir in the cooled thickened milk mixture.
7.Pour the mixture into a container and freeze in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
8.Once done, transfer the frozen yogurt to a container and freeze it for 2-3 hours until firm.
