1 tablespoon golden syrup
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons boiling water

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease baking tray lightly.
2.Mix flour, coconut flakes, oats and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
3.Melt butter and Golden Syrup over medium heat. Heat 2 tablespoons boiling water in a small bowl, add baking soda and then stir the mixture into the melted butter and syrup mixture.
4.Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
5.Use your hands to make small balls of the mixture and place them on the greased baking tray.
6.Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits turn golden brown.
7.Take them out of the oven and allow them to cool down before serving.
