Ingredients

2 tablespoons paprika

4 large lamb shanks , about 500g each ( If your shanks are small , allow more because there is plenty of marinade and sauce . )
1/4 cup olive oil
2 large onions , chopped
225 g plums , cut in half
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup white wine
2 cups hot chicken stock
salt and pepper

Instructions

7.Remove the lamb shanks and add plums, sugar, and white wine. Cook until the sauce has thickened.
8.Add chicken stock, salt, pepper, and lamb shanks back in. Cover the dish and roast in the oven for 2-3 hours or until the meat falls off the bone.
9.Serve with your choice of side dish.
