Wato's Chilli Sauce is a homemade condiment that hails from the Caribbean. Instructions

1.Add the chili peppers and white vinegar to a blender and blend until smooth.
2.In a large pot, combine the blended chili mixture, sugar, grated ginger, sultanas, salt, and garlic.
3.Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
4.Reduce the heat and simmer the sauce for 1-2 hours until it has thickened, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
5.Let the sauce cool, then transfer it to a sterilized glass jar with a tight-fitting lid. Store in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.
